Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how DrumPads, package name studio.music.drumpad.beatmaker, accesses, collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains information when you use the DrumPads mobile application.

DrumPads is a beat-making app for playing drum pads, browsing preset kits, creating loops, recording beats, saving custom kits, viewing ads, and purchasing optional premium features. DrumPads does not require you to create an account and we do not sell your personal information.

Information the app accesses or collects

Audio recordings, imported sounds, and custom kits

If you choose to record audio, import an audio file, trim audio, or create a custom pad kit, DrumPads accesses the audio content you select or create. This content is used to provide the recording, trimming, playback, loop, and custom-kit features. Audio files, recordings, and custom kit data are stored locally on your device or in the app's local storage. DrumPads does not upload your audio content to our own server.

App preferences and saved content

DrumPads stores app preferences locally, such as language settings, notification preferences, saved beat metadata, custom pad settings, and feature state needed to keep the app working as expected.

Ads, analytics, and diagnostics

DrumPads uses Google services such as Google Mobile Ads, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics. These services may collect data such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app interactions, approximate location inferred from network information, device and app information, performance data, crash logs, diagnostic data, and IP address. This data is used to show and measure ads, prevent fraud and abuse, understand app usage, improve reliability, and diagnose crashes.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you buy an in-app product or subscription, Google Play processes the payment. DrumPads receives purchase status information, such as whether a purchase is active, so the app can unlock paid features. DrumPads does not receive your full payment card number or banking details.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, DrumPads may schedule local reminders on your device. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.

How information is used

Information is used only for these purposes:

• to provide drum pad playback, recording, trimming, custom kit, loop, and lesson features;
• to save your preferences and locally saved app content;
• to show, personalize, limit, measure, and protect ads;
• to process purchases and restore premium access through Google Play;
• to analyze app usage, fix crashes, improve performance, and protect app security;
• to comply with legal, safety, and Google Play policy requirements.

Sharing with third parties

DrumPads may share data with service providers that help operate the app, including Google Mobile Ads, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Billing, and Google Play services. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. DrumPads may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce policies, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect users and the app.

Google Play data safety summary

The app may collect or share app activity, app information and performance, device or other identifiers, diagnostics, purchase-related status, and advertising-related data through Google SDKs. Audio content and custom kits you create are handled locally for app functionality unless you choose to export, share, or otherwise move that content outside DrumPads using device features.

Permissions

DrumPads may request permissions only when needed for app features, including:

• microphone access for recording audio;
• file or media access for selecting audio files you choose to import;
• notification permission for optional reminders;
• network access for ads, analytics, crash reporting, purchases, and online services.

You can manage app permissions from Android system settings. Some features may stop working if the related permission is disabled.

Data retention and deletion

Locally saved recordings, custom kits, preferences, and app files remain on your device until you delete them in the app, clear app data, or uninstall DrumPads. Data processed by Google services is retained according to Google's applicable retention practices. DrumPads does not provide an account system, so there is no DrumPads account to delete.

Your choices

• You can deny or revoke optional permissions in Android settings.
• You can delete local app data by clearing DrumPads storage or uninstalling the app.
• You can manage ad personalization and reset your advertising ID in Android or Google settings.
• You can stop using paid features by managing subscriptions in Google Play.

Children's privacy

DrumPads is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we aim to limit collection to what is needed for app functionality, ads, analytics, purchases, diagnostics, and security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, legal requirements, or Google Play requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
